Brian Wheeler, GearHead Creative Founder

Brian Wheeler founded GearHead Creative in the fall of 2007. Brian follows his imagination and strives to develop skills in both writing and the graphic arts. He established GearHead Creative to help clients achieve the highest level of creative expression.

Brian graduated in 1996 from Eastern Illinois University, located in Charleston, Illinois, with a major in English and a minor in history. He has taught courses in English and composition on both the secondary and college levels. His fiction has received Honorable Mention in Writer's Digest 1998 Short Story Competition. He has completed two novels and numerous short stories, and information regarding such works can be found at his fiction website located at www.flatlandfiction.com.

In 2003, Brian embarked on a new career path to achieve a childhood goal of working as a graphic designer. To that aim, he continues to develop new talents in the fields of desktop publishing, web design and other forms of digital media. GearHead Creative employs skills in both the written word and visual design to achieve the full potential of creative expression.

Brian served as Aumann Auctions' in-house graphic designer from the fall of 2004 through the fall of 2007. His responsibilities at such a desk included the budgeting of advertising campaigns as well as the design of brochures and catalogs, newspaper and magazine advertising, promotional items, web pages and other marketing pieces. While a member of Aumann Auctions, Brian helped the company earn numerous awards for their marketing efforts.
